# Your yoga studio’s timetable, teachers and memberships, and the practice in between.

Trainaq is yoga studio software for studios that coach their students: a weekly timetable with teachers, seat limits and waitlists, memberships with class counts, online classes on Zoom or Google Meet, and a home practice between classes. Students book and practise in a free app.

Where it works: Trainaq Coach · iPhone and Android; Web dashboard; Free Trainaq app for students.

## Is Trainaq right for a yoga studio?

Yes, if your studio coaches its students as well as teaching classes. Trainaq runs the weekly timetable, a login for each teacher and memberships that count classes, and gives students a home practice between classes, with demo videos and daily habits. For QR or kiosk check-in, StudioFly, from the same company, fits alongside it.

- Group classes and teacher logins are on Pro and Studio
- Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial, and no card is needed.
- Students book in the free Trainaq app on iPhone and Android
- Record every payment; online payments run for businesses in India

## Why do yoga studios outgrow WhatsApp groups and paper registers?

Because a group chat can’t hold a seat and a register can’t count classes. Students book by message, a mat freed at the last minute stays empty, and nobody is sure who has used 10 of their 12 classes. Between classes, the practice stops at the studio door, and you only find out when a membership lapses.

- **Bookings by message.** “Is there space at 7?” from twenty students, answered one by one.
- **Class counts on paper.** Twelve classes a month, a freeze for travel and a couple sharing one plan, kept in a register.
- **Practice stops at the door.** What students do between classes is invisible, so you can’t help the ones who drift.

## What does a week at a yoga studio look like with Trainaq?

Students join with an invite and an intake form, buy a membership with a class count and book the week’s classes in the app. Your teachers run their classes and privates from their own accounts, students keep a home practice between classes, and renewals, freezes and dues sit beside each membership instead of in a register.

### 1. Students join with an invite and an intake form

Send each student your invite link by message or email. They install the free Trainaq app and answer your intake form, so you and their lead teacher see their goals, injuries and health before the first class.

- One intake form for the studio, built in Trainaq Coach
- Tag students by batch, such as “7 am Hatha” or “Weekend”
- Pick each student’s lead teacher
- Screen: Trainaq web dashboard: a client's overview: this week's workouts and food days, and their intake answers on goals, injuries and health

### 2. Sell memberships with class counts

Create plans the way you already sell: a month with 8 classes, three months unlimited, or a couple plan for two partners sharing one pool, plus a one-time admission fee.

- Each booking takes one class from the membership
- Private sessions as a separate allowance on the same plan
- A coach discounts only up to the cap you set
- Screen: Trainaq web dashboard: membership plans in rupees and one in US dollars, with class and PT allowances and a monthly auto-pay plan

### 3. Publish the timetable, and students book

Set up each class type once, such as Hatha, Vinyasa or Yin, with its length, seats, teacher and room, or a Zoom or Google Meet link for online classes. Schedule it every week, and students book from the next 14 days in the app or join the waitlist when it is full.

- Weekly series of 4 to 52 weeks, extended when they run low
- A freed seat goes to the next student on the waitlist, with a push
- Screen: Trainaq client app: group classes to book, one full with a waitlist to join and two already booked

### 4. Teachers run their classes and privates

Each teacher signs in to Trainaq Coach with their own account. From an hour before class they open the roster and mark each student here or no-show. They set their own hours for privates, and the students they lead book 1:1 sessions in those slots.

- A late cancel or a no-show keeps the class used, unless you switch that off
- Private sessions with reminders 24 hours and 1 hour before
- Screen: Trainaq Coach app: the calendar of upcoming 1:1 sessions by day, with the availability button and tabs for upcoming, day and classes

### 5. Keep the practice going between classes

Build a home practice from our 450+ exercise demo videos, with Sun Salutation A and downward dog among them, or add your own videos. Poses are logged by time, and you assign the practice to up to 100 students at once. In Trainaq Coach, add daily habits such as 15 minutes of practice or a breathing routine.

- Your own videos of up to 60 seconds, or a YouTube link
- Habit reminders at a time each student picks
- Streak milestones at 7, 30 and 100 days
- Video: Downward dog, side view, our own 3D demo
- Screen: Trainaq client app: today's workout, the day's habits and streaks of 17 days of workouts, 21 days of habits and 35 days of logging

### 6. Get paid, and keep students coming back

Record each payment by cash, card machine or bank transfer, in full or in part, and Trainaq keeps the dues by date. Students get a reminder 7, 3 and 1 days before a membership ends.

- Days and classes left on every membership
- Extend, upgrade with credit, or transfer to another student
- A receipt for every payment
- Screen: Trainaq web dashboard: current memberships with how long each runs, the days left and the class or PT sessions left

## Which Trainaq features do yoga studios use most?

Group classes and memberships run the studio: the timetable, waitlists and class counts. Team accounts give every teacher their own login, and 1:1 booking handles privates. The exercise library, habits and chat carry the practice between classes, and payments and dues keep renewals on track.

## Can students pay for their yoga membership online?

Online member payments run for businesses in India today, through Razorpay. Your own plan is billed in US dollars.

## Which Trainaq plan fits a yoga studio?

Choose by how many active students you have and how many teachers need their own login. Group classes are on Pro and Studio, and coach accounts for your teachers are on Pro and Studio. Archived students don’t count toward the limit. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial, and no card is needed.

Most yoga studios start on Pro: $20 a month for up to 50 active clients, with 5 coach accounts.

| Plan | Price | Active clients | Coach accounts |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Starter | $10 a month | Up to 10 | 1 coach account + 1 assistant |
| Pro (fits most) | $20 a month | Up to 50 | 5 coach accounts |
| Studio | $59 a month | Up to 200 | 25 coach accounts |

Prices are in US dollars; taxes are added where applicable. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial, and no card is needed.

## What doesn’t Trainaq do for a yoga studio yet?

Some things studios ask for are not built yet: reminders before a class, a calendar file for classes, moving a scheduled class to a new time, drop-in classes without a membership and a public timetable for new students. Teachers mark attendance in the app, and there is no QR or kiosk check-in.

- To change a class’s time, cancel it (every student gets their class back) and schedule a new one
- The teacher is set on the class type; a cover teacher for one class isn’t built yet
- Teacher payroll isn’t part of Trainaq, and reports per teacher and multiple branches are coming soon
- Membership prices are in US dollars or rupees only, and online payments for businesses outside India are coming soon

## Should my yoga studio use Trainaq or StudioFly?

Pick by where your day goes. StudioFly, from the same company, runs class-led studio operations, with QR or kiosk check-in and front-desk automation. Trainaq is for studios that also coach: a home practice, habits, check-ins and chat around the timetable. Use StudioFly alongside Trainaq or instead of it.

- Trainaq doesn’t sync with StudioFly today, so a studio using both keeps its students in each

## How do I move my students over to Trainaq?

Send each of your students your invite link by WhatsApp, SMS or email. They install the free Trainaq app, fill in your intake form and land in your space with the plan you assign. There is no spreadsheet import yet, so you add students one at a time, from Trainaq Coach or the web dashboard.

- Set up class types and weekly series before students arrive, so they can book on day one
- Record each student’s current membership with its real start date and what they already paid

## FAQ

### What software does a yoga studio need for bookings and payments?

Look for three things: booking with seat limits and a waitlist that fills a freed seat on its own, memberships that take one class per booking and pause for a freeze, and dues tracked by date. Trainaq does these, and adds the coaching side: a home practice, habits and chat between classes.

### How many students can my yoga studio have on Trainaq?

Starter covers up to 10 active students, Pro up to 50 and Studio up to 200. Active and paused students count toward the limit; archived ones don’t, and reaching it only blocks adding new students. Larger studios add packs of extra clients on the bigger plans, and a 7-day free trial lets you start without a card.

### Do my students pay for the Trainaq app?

No. Students download Trainaq for free on iPhone or Android and join with your invite link. You pay for your Trainaq plan, and students pay you for their membership. Only invited students see your studio, and each one sees only their own bookings, membership and payments.

### Can I run online yoga classes on Zoom or Google Meet?

Yes. Paste your Zoom or Google Meet link on the class type, and only booked students see it, with a Join button from 15 minutes before the start. Trainaq doesn’t create meetings for you; you use your own account. Online and studio classes share one timetable and the same class counts.

### Can each yoga teacher have their own login?

Yes. Invite each teacher as a coach by link or WhatsApp; each plan includes a set number of coach accounts, and the coach role is on Pro and Studio. Teachers run their classes, mark attendance and take privates, and outside class they see only the students they lead. Payment setup, payouts and refunds stay with you.

### Can students freeze their membership when they travel?

Yes. Students ask for a freeze in the Trainaq app, and you approve or decline it. You set the rules: how long a freeze can last, how many a year and whether a fee applies. Bookings inside a freeze are cancelled, and the end date moves out by the days frozen.
